The first Social and Leisure course titled "Diet and Regimen" of the Health Academy for the Elderly was held on 11 March 2017 at the Youth Square. Mr. NG Tsz Kit, Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner of The Hong Kong Tuberculosis Association Chinese Medicine Clinic cum Training Centre of The University of Hong Kong was invited to give a talk on diet and regimen. Apart from introducing different types of healthy recipes, Mr. NG used an interesting tune to teach students on understanding Chinese medication and key issues of health management. Students were also guided to practise acupressure. At the end of the lecture, students were keen to ask questions, and Mr. NG was very patient in clearing the queries from the elderly students.
