The Third Session of "Social and Leisure" Course

The third "Social and Leisure" course titled "Knitting Class" of the Health Academy for the Elderly was held on 13 May 2017. Four voluntary tutors from "Knit and Care Community" were invited to provide four knitting lessons to students. All students are required to complete two scarves and one of the scarves will be sent to the elders visited by the "Outreach Team for the Elderly". The students with different level of knitting skills, were divided into four small groups and instructed by tutors on knitting or crochet techniques. As the class was arranged on the day before Mother's Day, the tutors prepared some colorful knitted flowers for all the participants, adding an extra warmth to the event.
